Practice for Movement
Moro Reflex
The movement:
The Moro reflex stimulates the adrenal glands to release adrenaline so that the entire body responds to the stimulus. The body opens up spreading arms and legs and closes again, with arms and legs returning to the typical fetus position. In newborns you can see the Moro reflex occur up to the age of two or three months when the baby is 'shocked', eg when he is picked up too quickly. Children and adults who have learned to compensate often do not show limb movements anymore. Every sudden stimulus activates the Moro reflex, such as:
-
A quick change in the position of the head
-
Sound
-
A sudden movement or change of light in the field of vision
-
Pain, temperature change, touch, being grasped too roughly
What happens physically during a triggered Moro reflex?
-
Instantaneous release of stress hormones (adrenaline) from the adrenals
-
Fast inhalation, temporary 'freeze', or 'fright', followed by a exhalation, often accompanied by a cry.
-
Activation of the 'fight-flight' mechanism alarm by the sympathetic nervous system, resulting in:
-Increase in respiratory rate (hyperventilation)
-Increase in heart rate
-Increase in blood pressure, skin turns red
-Muscle tone is increased
-Fast oxygen-rich blood to the limbs
All of this can be accompanied by a sudden outburst of anger or crying fit.
Symptoms that indicate an uninhibited Moro Reflex are:
-
Balance problems, dizziness, movement sickness,(carsickness), poor coordination of movements
-
Being physically timid. Tense muscle tone, physical armor
-
Problems with motor eye movements and visual perception. Your eye follows every new stimulus, eyes shooting back and forth. Your pupils react poorly to light, trouble with black letters on white paper. Under the influence of fluorescent light you will tire quickly.
-
Hypersensitivity to noise and hearing confusion
-
Difficulty with- or poor concentration, - focus, - centering
-
It is difficult to close yourself off to background noises such as a dripping tap
-
Lung problems, breathing difficulties, shallow breathing, holding your breath, apnea
-
Eczema, poor digestion
-
Gallbladder, liver and bowel problems
-
Nutritional deficiencies
-
Vitamin B12 deficiency
-
Itching, acidification of your body
poor sugar balance
-
Regular ear, nose and throat infections. throat - nose - ear problems.
-
Reverse reaction to medication
-
Allergies
-
Severe negative reaction to vaccines (constant poor health, for babies also: breathing problems, stagnation in development, reduced immunity, reduced vitality, paralysis symptoms)
-
Exhausted adrenal glands, stagnant lymphatic system, exhausted immune system, resulting in an autoimmune disease, M.E. and / or Burnout
-
poorly healing wounds or inflammations
-
Fatigue
-
Dislike of change or surprise, bad adaptability. You are a victim of permanent anxiety and inexplicable fear.
-
You have an exaggerated response to stimuli (over sensitive / high sensitive), sudden mood changes, unstable emotions, you can hardly accept criticism.
-
Outbursts of anger, short tempered
-
Fear of failure
-
Weak ego, low self-esteem, uncertainty, dependence, need to control or manipulate events. Control freak
-
Having problems making choices
-
Autistic behavior
